This page explains what happens with your information when you visit KVerse. We’ve tried to keep it in normal English rather than legalese; if anything is unclear, please email us and we’ll rewrite that section.

What we collect ourselves

Almost nothing, on purpose. We don’t have a login system, we don’t ask for your name, we don’t run our own newsletter yet, and there’s no comment system that stores your personal details on our own database.

The only data we handle directly is what you voluntarily send us – usually an email through the Contact page. That email stays in our inbox and is used only to answer you. We don’t sell it, we don’t add it to a mailing list, and we don’t share it with third parties.

What third parties collect via this site

KVerse runs on Blogger (a Google product) and shows ads. That means a few outside services do see some information about your visit. Here they are, in plain terms:

• Google – Blogger, Analytics, AdSense. Google logs the same standard visit data most sites collect: your rough location (country / city, not street), the browser and device you’re using, which page you looked at, how you got there, and how long you stayed. If we run AdSense ads, Google may use cookies to show you ads that are more relevant to your interests. You can see and control this at myadcenter.google.com.
• Other ad networks (Adsterra, Media.net, PropellerAds, etc., where relevant). Same idea – cookies for measurement and personalisation. Each network has its own opt-out; most support the browser-level “Do Not Track” and industry-standard opt-out at youronlinechoices.eu and optout.aboutads.info.
• Embedded content. Some posts embed tweets, YouTube videos, Instagram reels, or Weverse links. When they load, those platforms may drop their own cookies. If that bothers you, don’t click the embed.

Cookies

We don’t set any first-party cookies of our own. The cookies you may see in your browser after visiting KVerse are set by Google or the ad networks listed above. You can clear them any time from your browser settings, or block them entirely – the site will still work, you’ll just see less relevant ads.

Children

K-pop draws a young audience, so we’re direct about this: KVerse is intended for readers aged 13 and up. If you’re under 13, please don’t send us your email or any personal details. If a parent or guardian believes their child has emailed us anything, write to us and we’ll delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have specific rights over any data held about you (GDPR in the EU/UK, CCPA in California, similar laws elsewhere). Because we hold so little, in practice this usually means:

• Ask what we have on you – we’ll tell you.
• Ask us to delete it – we will, unless we’re legally required to keep it.
• Ask Google / ad networks about their data – the links above are the fastest route.

Data retention

Emails you send us stay in the inbox for as long as they’re useful for the conversation, then get archived. If you email us and ask us to delete the thread, we will.

Changes to this policy

If the site grows and we start collecting more (a newsletter, a comment system, an account), we’ll update this page and put a note at the top with the change date. Big changes will also be flagged in the footer for a week or two so returning visitors notice.
